@Mills211..I can admire and appreciate, art, music etc., but sadly I have no talent when it comes to actually 'doing' anything:
You are so lucky to have artistic ability....I envy you
I admire Otto Dix...As you know like OW, he was somebody who was also profoundly affected by war, both as an individual and an artist:
I have adored film noir and thrillers for ages, and much of Hitchcock's work also:(Nice choices )
@Nici: What is your opinion on the Treaty of Lisbon (I'm serious. )The last time we voted... Ireland said 'No'......So next month there will be another referendum... to try to get us to change our minds .. Do Austrians regret voting 'yes'...or..as I suspect..does nobody really care?
It's lovely here right now...very mild and mellow, the leaves are just starting to turn yellow and red...and the ocean is deliciously cool:

Thank you.
As for the weather, it's been over 100 degreese (Fahrenheit) for the past weeks, and today it was at least 112. Several people, including me, have gotten dizzy and sick from it.
And Halloween is right around the corner! October is only a few days away! |
