Your favorite scene?
I have noticed that many of Oskar's fans of one particular scene that they are especially fond of in one of his movies. So I thoought I would ask, what is your favorite scene that Oskar was in, of any of his movies?
I have already told about mine--it is the one in Decision Before Dawn, when he calls his father, and he cannot talk to him, but he only wants to hear his voice. He was so sincere, and he made the scene so realistic, I was mesmorized.
My scene preferred by Oskar...
Hello, Tyrone Power,
I did not see many films of Oscar because I discovered him on September 30th, 2007 in the film " decision before dawn " and I saw some scenes of the other films about Youtube and my scene preferred is in" decision before dawn " when he is in a hotel room and when the woman who tries to seduce him approaches him by holding out the hand towards the face and when hepushes away herby by holding him the arm (it is the big photo that Nici sent to us) I had never seen a pushed away man a woman in these circumstances; it struck me.
And I admit that on youtube I saw a scene the film " ship of fools " which I like too when he enters Simone Signoret's cabin, which they look before falling in arms one of the other one and kissing itself... I admit I would have liked being on Simone's place!
See you soon!
The snow scene at the end of Fahrenheit 451 is my favorite but the ending of Interlude runs a close second place.
*I consider myself a very tough guy but everytime I watch either one of those scenes I cry.
Someone else who does cry when watching Oskar movies! I think it proves we are real fans, maybe.
favourite scene with Oskar
Hello everybody,
Here Chloe, some people do not still know me, I remained a little in the dark the time to familiarize me with the new forum, I had to find names known for me as ( Pamela, Nici, Susanne, Montag, ....) before reappearing, I am delighted to discover new members who interessent to Oskar Werner, It is very moving. For me, he was exceptional,
He left nobody indifferent both by his immense talent and by his beauty. My Oskar's favorite scenes, there is a lot but there is one that I look at regularly, It is the final scene in " columbo "
When Peter Falk shows to him the invitation card on the screen, there Oskar becomes pallid, he is completely trapped, he perspires ,he stammers, he still tries to deny his murder, he is absolutely hallucinating. In “ voyage of the damned” the scene where he cries " really and certainly " when he hears a German song, he makes me vibrate. Chloe

I'll look for those scenes in Columbo and Voyage of the Damned. Thanks for sharing.
Chloé, you choosed my favourite scene too. The one from "Voyage of the Damned". Love it.
Difficult to choose one among all.
In Playback: when he sat and he exclaimed "Arthur!" His smile, his eyes, and his voice show something that belongs to him. When his eyes when he observes and analyzes the words of his interlocutor : very expressive !
Chloé : the same thing for me like you write it ! :)

Amicalement,
Marie-Jeanne
