What movies have you seen already with him?

I have only seen two of his movies, Decision and Ship of Fools. I had never even heard of him until about a year ago. He is basically forgotten in the United States. What other movies would you suggest of his?
Definitely his two movies with Truffaut:
"Jules and Jim"
and
"Fahrenheit451"
"Der letzte Akt" would be also a good movie to watch. I think it was dubbed into English.
Soon, I am going to check which of his movies is available here in the States. I will let you know. :D
Here is the list of OW movies available on DVD in the US:
Lola Montes on DVD (1955)
Jules And Jim (Jules Et Jim) on DVD (1961)
Ship Of Fools on DVD (1965)
The Spy Who Came In From The Cold on DVD (1965)
Fahrenheit 451 on DVD (1967)
The Shoes Of The Fisherman on DVD (1968)
And, of course, Decision Before Dawn.
Please never ask me what I think about "The Shoes of the Fisherman"! :?
give "Jules et Jim" and "Fahrenheit 451" a try first.. in the other movies he doesn't have major parts.
Okay, i will order both of them soon. If you don't want to you don't have to tell me, but what is it about, well you know the title, that you don't like? :D

Hello everyone, concerning our favorite scenes: I love the scenes in Ship of Fools between OW and Simone Signoret because of the great sensuality between them. She was a great woman and it seems to me they felt equal. I have watched this movie many times and I am still thrilled.
I also love Decision before Dawn with the scene when he is phoning his father. It is as if he knew all kinds of emotions and feelings in human nature in depth - and showed them to us.
My danish husband told me that Fahrenheit is one of the three best movies he ever had seen.
With love to all, Susanne
Hi Susanne ! :)
I have no doubt : to be deep like him, it means to see and to know human nature in emotions and feelings. With only one a first glance, he saw in a person without words. The same thing about Simone.
Friendly,
Marie-Jeanne
