Good evening,
It's a pity, we can'not see Oskar in Playback now. You tube removed sequences.

Try checking on the usual sources for used VHS and DVD like Amazon. That's how I got mine..... or you could check eBay. Good luck..... it is out there.

Hello Jeanne Marie, On the American ebay, there is a Life Magazine that has an article about OW. The address is:
http://search.ebay.com/oskar-werner_W0QQfkrZ1QQfnuZ1. Good luck. If you like, send me a private message and I can give you some other options. Best wishes, Tina

Hello Marie Jeanne, I apologize for confusing your name. I looked at my private message from you, but the only thing it said was Oskar, no other words. Let's see if I can access it. I will try again, Best wishes, Tina

You are doing fine. Just keep on the Forum and you'll be bi-lingual in no time, just ask Susanne!!
marie-jeanne- 03-16-2008
Thank you Pamela. :) It's my intention to stay with you on the forum and talk with you. Triple Happiness: speak English well, learn a lot about Oskar and especially thanks to you and the great pleasure to speak with you! :D You become my teachers !
I try to put myself in the German too. I have a few small bases long ago. I just put a challenge. :D

Re: Hi!
Nici, it would be "She reminded him of his mother." Perfectly understandable...I have similar problems in learning German. I just wish I was as good at German as you are English.
Thanks my friend. I never remember it.. Never! You'll see, next time I ask again. BTW, I am reading a certain book now. :D And I like it so far.

Good evening,
Playback in French version:
It's a pity, it's not Oskar's voice. It's a voice which goes well, but it gives no intensity.
I prefer to listen to the English versions, and to hear his voice. :)
Friendly,
Marie-Jeanne

Yes, I know what you mean Marie-Jeanne. He dubbed the German version of Columbo himself, but a TV station made a new dubbing in the mid-80's or so, and he got another voice. It was strange, though I liked the voice he had. It's not shown anymore with his own voice, but I had luck, and have a copy of it's original German version with his own voice.

Good evening Nici, :)
I bought Fahrenheit 451 in the original language, with French written in small words. This movie enjoyed me. I don't seek to buy the French version. Needless to put another voice on Oskar, to do that is : to remove a part of him.
Excuse me, I limited in English, especially at now, these days, because I must to talk a very correct French for my work. :)
Friendly,
Marie-Jeanne
